Korcan Kayrın has over 16 years of experience, grounded in engineering, with a specialization in nuclear energy, energy markets, socio-economic impact assessments, and R&D projects. He has worked extensively on key aspects of the Akkuyu and Sinop Nuclear Power Plant projects, including optimal commissioning schedules, the market impacts of potential delays, regional development analyses, and regulatory licensing processes. He has conducted academic research under TÜBİTAK-funded projects and held roles in the private sector as an R&D Director, software developer, and project manager. Currently, he provides consultancy services to both domestic and international companies in areas such as legislation compliance, localization strategy, supply chain development, and radiation applications. He actively contributes to national and international platforms, supporting Türkiye’s nuclear energy vision.
